On a Saturday morning when our team was not attending a meet we had 2 swimmers make the trip to Boyertown to try to make some JO cuts. With out a coach attending and swimming in an old pool the girls swam great. Maggie Palaski swam one event the 50 fly and made her JO cut with ease. With only 15 girls our lady Piranhas swam away with a 3rd place team finish just behind the Lehigh Valley powerhouse EMAC. Our boys team placed 8th out of 15 teams at the meet. On a steamy almost 100 degree day we had 6 of our 8 & Unders traveled to Neshaminy Middle School just north of Philly for the NRG June 7th USA Mini Meet. Our USA Team started its long course season in a big way in the "BIG" pool. On May 2-4 we had 11 of our 55 USA team members take the trip to Lancaster PA for the Trident May Maelstrom Long Course Meet held at F & M University. Last night we had our April Spring Time Trials to see how our training has been going. Our Team has been working very hard in practice and it has been truly paying off. The USA Swimming Mini Champs was an extremely fast meet with many 8 years swimmers setting meet records and making Summer 2008 JO Cuts. William Cerbone, Liam Naturale and Zack Wolbert competed against swimmers from PA, NJ, NY and DE. William Cerbone swam in the 6 and under age group and swam the 25 breast and 50 free with close to best times. He was one of only a few 5 year olds in the meet.

With this weekends USA Swimming MINI Champs our Winter Season is wrapping up. It has been a "GREAT!" season with too many great swims and broken records to talk about.
